Vivian’s Story
I grew up happy. I lived on a farm in Iowa with a great brother and loving parents. We were poor back then and I watched my parents make do and fix things up as a normal way of life. But, we always had everything we really needed.
The Mother of a good 8th-grade friend of mine reminded me that I had told her, I can do anything I want when I grow up. I lived in a world of happiness and possibility then, and I developed my interests and talents.
Sorry to say, I let that world slip away as an adult. I began to live in the less-than, make-do, and fix-it-up world during my marriage and took those beliefs into myself with alarming results. I became depressed and gave up my dreams of having my own family and that sense of fulfillment I had expected from love.
While I had success and challenge and even confidence in my work, I accepted lots of limitations in my personal life. I didn’t see any real possibilities except more unhappiness.
I made a fresh start and started on a journey to discover myself and the voice and dreams I had lost. I read books and took workshops and was even drawn to the field of counseling. All of that study supported my growth. But the turning point was discovering the ideas of my natural, inborn wisdom and the secrets of how my thinking was creating my life.
I found the key to unlock the door between my little and limited world and the enormous world of potential and purpose that was always there inside me. I dropped the negative beliefs about myself with some practice and began to rely on my wisdom to guide and move me forward. Everything in my life just got better and better.
And now I can’t go back to that little world. I experience my wisdom and brilliance in so many ways—those sudden inspirations and answers that appear at home and work, the happiness and gratitude that I feel every day. And, lucky me, now I get to share this with you and many others who want to be really happy every day.
I know you, too, can unlock that door and walk into your own big world of happiness—it’s waiting and ready for you right now. And I’d be only too happy to help you do just that.
