How Brilliance Stops Stress

Written by Lynne & Vivian on April 7, 2010 – 6:00 pm -

When we experience the feelings of stress, we can slow down and shift to the wealth of Brilliance that our mind can access. Brilliant thoughts attract more of the same and our view of the world changes in a minute. In the case of a lost sale that occurs, our first thought is likely to be the same:

  • “I was counting on that sale and it just fell through; I can’t believe it!”
  • In our brilliant mind, our next thought might be “I think I’ll call and get the details of why this happened.”
  • A few minutes later after that call you might think, “There is a real problem in production and layoffs ahead.”

A nano-second later other inspired thoughts might occur:

  • “Who is their competition – I’ll get on the phone with them”, or “My brother-in-law specializes in business consultation and I’ll let him know that he might be able to help them.”
  • Not long after that, you are relaxed and refocused: “My next sale is coming soon. I have five good prospects I can move ahead with.”

Each thought we have attracts more of the same; it’s like you are putting your order out to the Universe and it sends back more of what you have put attention on. If you shift your thinking and start focusing on what it is that you truly want, then you will begin to experience more of that in your life. We know it sounds simplistic, but when you work with this, you will find the truth hidden within it.  By letting go of those thought attacks we gain the time and energy to move in the direction we really want to go.

Our thoughts are the foundation for how we experience our lives. Once we know how thoughts create our lives, it is easier to understand how thoughts create our stress. If given full control, our computer mind will keep repeating the past and projecting into the future. This pattern does not assist us to manage today’s demands and pressures with confidence and ease.

It is essential that we learn to access our core of Brilliance, through our transmitter mind, so that we can find new answers, build supportive and loving relationships, and let go of the past beliefs and patterns that limit or suppress our real and authentic capacities. Isn’t it true that we all want happiness, satisfaction, and a sense of being fully alive in a world where all are held in respect? It is equally as true that our thoughts will either create stressful lives or create stress-free lives in which we are able to contribute our best to the tasks, desires and dreams we hold dear.

Natural Brilliance, Life’s Greatest Gift

Written by Lynne & Vivian on December 11, 2009 – 2:39 pm -

Start getting your personal gift list ready, the gifts that you will give yourself this year.  Are you longing for a simpler lifestyle, less hectic with more time for yourself?   Are you looking for that spark, the certain something that you believe life should possess and has gone missing for you?  Are you still looking for that nurturing, cherishing love that fairy tales tell us about?

Well, it all begins with us, within us. What we are wishing and searching for outside of ourselves actually exists within. If we initiate a personal “Google” search inside, we will find the answers to a simpler, happier, and authentically enlivened way of being in the world.

So, how can you do this? We suggest that you begin a study of your natural Brilliance. It is the one true book, whose chapters never end, whose adventures never fade, and whose love is ever true. Can this be? Yes, indeed!  The following quote comes from our e-book, Stop Stress Guide:The Brilliance Formula in Action.

“Brilliance illuminates our true talents, strengths, and abilities. As we clear the old patterns of thinking and belief systems that create our stress, we see who we truly are. We no longer allow our life energy to be absorbed by multiple external conditions. Instead we direct our life force into all that lights us up and gives us joy. We are able to be true to ourselves, do what we love, and live truly happy lives.”

In the game of fact vs. fiction, we promise you that Brilliance will always win. It’s a fact that our natural Brilliance is the truth of a lifetime, waiting to be discovered and activated.

To Stop Stress Stay in the Present Moment

Written by Lynne & Vivian on November 20, 2009 – 3:46 pm -

For much of the past year we have been focused on creating both a  free “Stop Stress Now” email course and our new e-book, Stop Stress Guide: The Brilliance Formula in Action – plus the marketing tools needed to promote them. All this attention on stress has reminded us that an easy way to eliminate stress is to stay focused in the present moment.

There are tricks to mastering this process. The only real moment is this moment.  Anytime our focus shifts to the past or to the future we have left “real” time. There is a tendency when looking at the past to remember difficult times and then to project more of the same into the future. This is prescription for stress.Happy Thanksgiving

Around the holidays we can get caught up in our to-do list with everything we have already done and everything we have yet to accomplish. We can be at a party with family or friends and instead of enjoying the moment we get busy with our mental list, thinking, “If I do just these two things tonite before bed, then I’ll be ahead tomorrow.” At the same time we have missed the joy of shared time and conversation with people we really love.

While practicing staying focused in the now, being vigilant about keeping our attention on this moment, we have discovered many benefits.

  • We stay relaxed instead of moving into urgency.
  • We get to enjoy each moment for its gifts.
  • We trust that each moment will bring with it the knowing of what is most important to attend to.

The more we practice being present the less we identify with the outer trappings of our lives and the more we identify with the true presence of ourselves.

During the holiday season the best present we can give ourselves is to be present to each moment.

Stop Stress and Be Happy

Written by Lynne & Vivian on September 25, 2009 – 2:49 pm -

Today we cannot pretend that we’re not experiencing stress. People in record numbers are facing job layoffs, the loss of savings, loss of homes, and increased costs of living. This takes a toll on relationships, family, friendships, and personal confidence. For many their quality of life is dramatically diminished. Most people are looking for the secrets of stress reduction. Who knows if things will get better or worse. We all hope a better day is coming.

Our experience has proven that we can eliminate stress whatever the cause. When you understand its causes you are able to own your power to live stress-free and follow the steps to natural stress relief. This article provides two easy steps to get started, to make stress-free living a reality instead of a dream.

Stress Destroys Happiness

The impact of stress on our lives is pervasive. It can sap our energy, destroy our health, and leave us frustrated and hopeless. Often times this is an incremental process. You may be running as fast as you can to keep your job and then suddenly lose it. When we are too busy we might not notice the warning signs of stress. For example, many of us have put all of our money into our homes and still have lost them to the mortgage companies. Having worried for months that the worst could happen, we are then presented with an even more serious set of concerns when it does. And, we are living so close to the edge of our incomes that there is nothing left when an emergency occurs.

For the person who has avoided these extremes, life may still be filled with stress. We may be experiencing relationship problems, parenting challenges, workplace stress, and/or health issues with the latest epidemic headed your way. It seems that our neighborhoods are no longer safe, our leaders are no longer trustworthy, our world is filled with poverty and despair, and our planet is endangered. We’re feeling anxious, overwhelmed, angry, worried, afraid, and weary.

It’s possible that we’ve been in these patterns for so long that our stressed out lives appear normal to us. Sometimes we wonder when we last had a sense of security and a moment of peace and happiness.

Real Solutions for Stress Reduction

There are many popular cures for stress. Your doctor may prescribe little pills and your guru will show you the benefits of yoga and deep breathing.

Your friends will invite you out for a night of drinking and your associates at work will tell you how to take short cuts on the job. Exercise, a walk in the woods, time alone and a short nap are some other ways that people unwind and reduce stress. None of these give natural stress relief, create a permanent change, or completely eliminate stress.

Our unique approach to stress provides real solutions that stop stress at its source. First, thinking is at the center of all of our responses to stress. Second, most people don’t realize that they have an inborn wisdom, which we call Brilliance, that is always available to give insights and answers to the problems we face. There is a formula we have identified that will shift our thinking and return us to our natural Brilliance whenever we remember to apply it. This formula provides the most natural stress relief available.
