Brilliance, Your Gift to Life
Written by Lynne & Vivian on December 15, 2009 – 8:00 am -Brilliance illuminates our true talents, strengths and abilities. As we clear the old patterns of thinking and belief systems that create our stress, we see who we truly are. We no longer allow our life energy to be absorbed by multiple external conditions. Instead we direct our life force into all that lights us up and gives us joy. We are able to be true to ourselves, do what we love, and live truly happy lives.
Life is experienced through relationships. We live and work with others. When we shift to living in our Brilliance we are able to recognize theBrilliance in others. Bringing our Brilliance into our relationships elevates and expands their potential. As we focus from our natural Brilliance and see the Brilliance in others We create vital connections that uplift and inspire. This process promises brilliant relationships.
Our brilliant relationships create brilliant communities. We can change what is happening in the world today. Change begins with one good idea. A brilliant idea supported by a brilliant community will impact everyone. When collective Brilliance is applied to any situation an unstoppable power for good is released.
As we write this our world seems to be in serious trouble on all fronts. No one has a crystal ball that shows us the ideal outcome. Collectively we have the power to choose the direction we move in, within our societies, our nation, and our world. Where do we begin?
Waiting for somebody to step up and take charge for all of us won’t work. That is an outside-in approach that denies the contributions each of us is here to make.
- Our best beginning is to connect with our Brilliance.
- Then we can connect with the Brilliance of others.
- Together we can pool our brilliant ideas which will always lead to expanded solutions to the situations we face.
Brilliant solutions incorporate the needs of all and serve everyone. A collective action from Natural Brilliance holds the power to transform the world’s problems.
We heal ourselves when we live from our Brilliance. Healing our planet, our countries, and our societies, comes from our willingness to live our heart’s desire and do what we love. This is our most important gift to life.

Natural Brilliance, Life’s Greatest Gift
Written by Lynne & Vivian on December 11, 2009 – 2:39 pm -Start getting your personal gift list ready, the gifts that you will give yourself this year. Are you longing for a simpler lifestyle, less hectic with more time for yourself? Are you looking for that spark, the certain something that you believe life should possess and has gone missing for you? Are you still looking for that nurturing, cherishing love that fairy tales tell us about?
Well, it all begins with us, within us. What we are wishing and searching for outside of ourselves actually exists within. If we initiate a personal “Google” search inside, we will find the answers to a simpler, happier, and authentically enlivened way of being in the world.
So, how can you do this? We suggest that you begin a study of your natural Brilliance. It is the one true book, whose chapters never end, whose adventures never fade, and whose love is ever true. Can this be? Yes, indeed! The following quote comes from our e-book, Stop Stress Guide:The Brilliance Formula in Action.
“Brilliance illuminates our true talents, strengths, and abilities. As we clear the old patterns of thinking and belief systems that create our stress, we see who we truly are. We no longer allow our life energy to be absorbed by multiple external conditions. Instead we direct our life force into all that lights us up and gives us joy. We are able to be true to ourselves, do what we love, and live truly happy lives.”
In the game of fact vs. fiction, we promise you that Brilliance will always win. It’s a fact that our natural Brilliance is the truth of a lifetime, waiting to be discovered and activated.

How to Make the Brilliance Connection to Avoid Holiday Stress
Written by Lynne & Vivian on December 8, 2009 – 7:00 am -The I-Ching says, “Before the beginning of great brilliance, there must be chaos.” Do you find the feeling of chaos seems more pertinent during the holidays?
At this time of year, we tend to get overwhelmed. There are lists upon lists for gifts, school concerts and sports events, activities, holiday gatherings, and food to make, bake or buy. It’s hard to keep these lists straight and easy to find yourself recopying and reorganizing every list.
Then there are the events of the world around us. All of us seem to have less money to spend, more worries about our jobs or the jobs of our families and friends, and concerns about the safety issues and wars that are threatening or already occurring.
How do we maintain our heart connection and gain a sense of hope in this season of love and new beginnings, in the midst of the seeming chaos of this moment? It is important to remember that we are all in this together. It is essential to remember that we are all connected to a greater wisdom that is available to us in every minute.
By ignoring our mental chatter (try it) and banishing the negative voices around us (find the good that exists in each situation), we can focus our attention on the wisdom and Brilliance that all of us possess. We can make this choice, in every moment, every day. The more we are tuned into the thoughts from our natural Brilliance the more our actions will reflect Universal wisdom and lead to new and better beginnings.

Natural Brilliance, The Balancing Act
Written by Lynne & Vivian on November 7, 2009 – 4:50 pm -Have you noticed that you give over some hours or days in your life to wondering WHY things are the way they are? We usually question what we did that allowed or invited the circumstance or event to show up and bother us. And we only invest hours of time musing over personal or public events that we don’t really like, situations that aren’t as we had wished them. We’ve spent a few such minutes in the past at Back to Brilliance.
This is a habit which most of us indulge in, even when our lives are very good and satisfying. Even then, we often think about what would have happened if we had done this instead of that, married this person instead of that one, or voted for one person instead of another.
We have found that accepting what is moves us out of the thinking rut. One might assume that accepting what is will put us in a low mood, feeling victimized. Perhaps it doesn’t fit with the image we have of ourselves, as the mover, the strong force, the one who keeps on keeping on.
However, it is accepting what is that gets us to the other side, without all the mind chatter. It is acceptance that gives us a quiet minute so that natural Brilliance can enter our minds and do its work to make our lives a whole lot easier.
We can see more clearly from the state of reality and make better plans to move to the place of our desires. Accepting what is allows us to save time and move into action, when possible, and into that peaceful balance. Our energy is used to create instead of crumble. When we balance acceptance and action we become powerful.

Brilliance Builds Better Relationships
Written by Lynne & Vivian on November 3, 2009 – 7:00 am -Today we begin a series of articles on the topic of relationships. In good or bad times, our relationships can act like a thermometer in our lives. From hot to cold, the measure of how our relationships are going heats or chills the rest of our lives at the same time. Relationships are that important.
If you have relationships that include partners, spouses or children at home, know that those relationships can be a source of continuous stress or continuous support. In times of fear about jobs and finances, along with worries about relatives, friends and/or children, we all tend to “work out” our stress at home. Everyone there starts to feel upset, distressed or worse when stress is high. This isn’t what we need to make it through the hard times.
Let’s take a look at the general adjustments and pressures in our relationships. First of all, relationships in the home always involve communication. Sometimes our communication habits need some work in order to make decisions and coexist peacefully. When we have children there are even more people to include in the process.
When two people decide to make a home together they bring all their previous patterns with them. Behaviors that are normal to one may seem unreasonable to the other. Many of us have assumed that we will get along without looking at our individual perceptions and differences. This can lead to conflict, heartache and even more stress.
We also bring our expectations, dreams, and desires into our relationships. When things don’t go as we expect them to we react out of surprise, hurt, or disappointment. These feelings are telling us that we are reacting from our old patterns of thinking. Until we’ve learned to shift from what we thought would be, to our Brilliance, we will be immersed in stress.
We can remove the stress from poor communication and learn to accept and/or negotiate our partner’s “crazy” patterns when we communicate from our Brilliance. We can turn hurt and disappointment into commitment and adventure when we see the Brilliance in others and work to share a life that honors “the others” in our relationships, without demanding shared viewpoints, goals and dreams.
Most of our relationship problems come from our conditioned thinking. Once we have learned to follow our natural Brilliance we can avoid the potholes and have a smoother, more loving journey for ourselves and our families.
If you want to learn more about how Brilliance can make good relationships better, and then turn better into best, access more of our articles on Brilliance to get a bigger picture. We will be sharing our views on “judging others” and “anger” in two articles coming soon. Stay tuned.

Brilliance Makes Magic A Reality
Written by Lynne & Vivian on October 29, 2009 – 3:20 pm -It seems like we are at a place where we are seeing the Universe respond to our visions in magical ways. For years, and months, and weeks and days we have been learning to go with the creative flow. We’ve had to face our dragons and put them to rest. We’ve had to look beyond appearances and learn to trust that all is well. We’ve learned to celebrate the tiniest steps on our road to growing our dreams.
In the process we’ve truly accepted that “all is well” in every moment and that every step was necessary to move ahead on our journey. We’ve learned to stay focused on what we want rather than what we don’t. Most important, we have learned to risk and step out even though things were uncertain, trusting our feelings and natural Brilliance.
We made a commitment to our work, to our dream, to do whatever it takes. There’s been no turning back. We’ve sent this message to the Universe and now the Universe is responding. In just the last week we have received several breakthrough opportunities that invite us to expand into new arenas, both for our business and personally. When magic becomes reality it takes your breath away.
Land appeared beneath their feet where there had been none,
Because they dared to step.
Cups that had long been empty began to overflow,
As they were finally raised in toast.
And friends were drawn, as if from the ether,
When the party shoes went on.
Oh, the MAGIC!

Natural Brilliance Stops Stress
Written by Lynne & Vivian on October 27, 2009 – 8:00 am -Can you imagine what your life would be like without the constant strain and pressure of stress? No matter how many techniques to diminish stress you try, they only give you temporary relief. None of the current approaches deals with the origins of reactive stress and, therefore, none offer a long-term solution.
In discovering our 12 Keys to Brilliance, we gained a unique understanding of stress, its origins, and its nature. As we write this, all of the programs we have reviewed that deal with stress relief lack the ability to change our relationship with stress forever.
Solutions to stress have to come from the inside out. Each of us has a core of natural Brilliance. When we understand our Brilliance and learn that this Brilliance is always available to use in every moment, we gain the power to stop stress once and for all.
